Getting Involved

LAAHU's success is built around your involvement. Your unique experiences and talent is what drives our committees. Take a look at these different opportunities and let us know where your expertise will best be utilized, then contact the committee chair. It's that easy.

LAAHU is fortunate to continue to excel in education, advocacy and professionalism based on the individual and collective contributions of its members. As part of the Awards committee, you can help us take pride in honoring and recognizing our members and chapter activities!

Awards play an important role – to set forth best management practices and challenges for both the chapter and individual members. Chapters that win National and State awards experience chapter growth, stability and improved member satisfaction. Individuals that win National and State awards are spurred on to even greater personal achievement. LAAHU uses the NAHU Pacesetter Award criteria in our annual strategic planning meeting to set in motion proven action plans, leading our chapter to continued strength, stability and responsiveness to member needs.
