Focus on a Member

Lynn Hill has been an insurance professional and licensed agent for five years. Her business is diversified through property and casualty, individual health, group health, life and financial. Lynn has only been a member of LAAHU since March of this year, but is already seeing the benefits.

“While going through the Warner Pacific HIP designation program, I was able to keep up with the changing healthcare bill. Now that I’m a graduate, I didn’t have the interaction and access to the information as I did before. LAAHU is providing me with the ongoing information necessary to stay current.”

Before going into insurance, Lynn put her bachelor’s degree in Finance and Real Estate to use with Wells Fargo and Raymond James Financial Services. However, she was soon drawn to the insurance industry with Farmers. “I elected to go with Farmers because they assisted me obtaining my Property & Casualty, Life & Health, and Series 6 and 63 licenses. I remained with Farmers until I became independent in 2008. I wanted to diversify my business so I have focused more in the health insurance area.”

It’s the ability to help people that’s important to Lynn. “In my history as an agent, I’ve come to truly appreciate the services we provide families and businesses. (Insurance agents) are the ones that comfort and console. We are the ones that provide guidance and assistance to make them as whole as possible. Not too many other industries do this.”

In her free time, Lynn enjoys going to the beach, hiking, traveling, spending time with her friends and family and, of course, a nice massage.
